Rotalec is proud to announce the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saint-Laurent/Mount Royal has awarded the company two prizes at its 32nd annual Alpha Gala.

These awards recognize both the launch of a new emerging technology in the manufacturing sector, but also recognize all those who have contributed to the success of the company over the past four decades.
Rotalec understands keeping its competitive edge imply anticipating advancements affecting production environments and taking effective action to implement new solutions. Rotalec invest $1 million per year in research and development, which allows the company to be an industry-leading innovator. Among its achievements, the Project Division team had developed a permanent laser marking system for the aluminum sector that can save customers $300,000 annually and had created a Slap Shot Robot, a robotic system designed to test precision, durability and efficacy of new styles of hockey sticks.

Through the Alpha Gala, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saint-Laurent/Mount Royal has been recognizing business excellence for over 30 years across a range of industries including distribution, energy management, and more. More than 350 people attended this year’s event at the Crystal Ballroom in Saint-Laurent.
